Make A Choice Campaign

Made in collaboration with teen focus groups, Make A Choice raised awareness on teen dating violence in the Los Angeles Metro area. This educational campaign utilized a multi-platform engagement strategy that incorporated print, social media, and radio to promote healthy, violence-free relationships among youth. We wanted to empower teens to be active bystanders when they heard and saw violence, and also engage youth in community organizing and mobilization.

Make A Choice also encouraged parents, educators, school district members, and other adult allies with calls to action to work in partnership with teens: make a choice to believe youth and support those affected by dating abuse.

Making a Choice: Consent

For this campaign, we interviewed teen community leaders and adults to create an informational video on consent. This PSA includes personal testimonies from youth, Spanish speakers, and the ASL community to send a powerful message on how to obtain someone’s consent, and the serious consequences of failing to do so.
